Facebook is getting a new Like button, along with other “Reactions” – this is what they look like.
Facebook is getting a new Like button, along with other “Reactions” which users can select to express how they feel towards a post.
Bloomberg reported that the Like button is used six billion times a day, and that the new button will include the Reactions extension.
The usual thumbs-up button is displayed under each post, but if a smartphone user presses down on it, the Reactions options will be revealed.
“Once people click their responses, the posts in News Feed show a tally of how many wows, hahas, and loves each generated,” stated the report.
Facebook has not given a date for when Reactions will be introduced in the USA, stating it will come “in a few weeks”.
The new like button and Reactions are below.
